Chef Guy Krenzer
Guy Krenzer believes that cuisine should be a shared experience. A sharing of flavors, pleasure, and special moments. He believes in defending the culture of haute cuisine, which he is fervently passionate about. He also stresses that a profession is built on the passion one has for their job. His curiosity enables him to hone his art, and staying humble helps guide his meticulous practices. He insists that honest emotions can work to enhance taste, augmented by his gourmet zeal that excites all the other senses.

His career
After completing his apprenticeship with the Compagnons du Devoir and the Tour de France to learn the culinary trade, Guy Krenzer was twice named “Meilleur Ouvrier de France”, first in charcuterie in 1988, then in cuisine in 1996. He also earned a diploma as a professional coffee-roaster and barista. As the current Creative Director for the Maison Lenôtre, he continues in his work to promote excellence.
